Thank you to our fundraisers!


Secret World Wildlife Rescue makes a real difference to British Wildlife, but our work costs money. With no Government funding, we rely heavily on the support and generosity of people like you to fund our vital work! We are very grateful to ALL of our supporters who organise their own fundraising events… here are just a few listed below.


l Viking Vets held a Christmas Raffle and Raised £242.


l Charmaine Taylor, Sophie Gosney and Alison Lock took part in a sponsored 24 mile bike ride for Secret World’s Challenge24 fundraising initiative and collectively raised £255.


l Phoebe Swinson (pictured right) did a school project and raised awareness before Christmas about our need for food. Phoebe delivered over 40 tins and sachets of cat and dog food to us collected from her school friends at Huish Episcopi school.


l Carol Rice held a fundraising dance and raised £100. l Bob Maddocks arranged 3 garage sales at Abbey View and raised £60.


l Angela Steps arranged a monthly Clairvoyant evening in Highbridge, with Medium Jenny Ann, and raised £70 for Secret World.


l The Broadmead Lane Residents Association arranged an ‘Apple Day’ event at their local orchard and raised £60.


l The Classic Club from Burnham-On-Sea donated £230 which had been raised from their coffee mornings during 2010.


And of course a huge thank you to all our supporters who took part in our sponsored ‘Winter Warmer’. (see page 7)
