Full of Eastern Promise!
Our Annual Auction and Ball was another successful event.
Held at the Cadbury Country Hotel last November, it was hard for guests not to think that they had been whisked away to Arabia with belly dancers, mystical music and even a camel!
Just under £7,000 was raised on the night and thanks must go to all the people who donated auction items and attended the event in costume making it a very colourful and magical evening.
This year we go from harems to serving wenches - so get your thinking caps on for those who wish to dress to the theme because this year it’s a Medieval Banquet.

The Supreme Master Ching Hai
Secret World Wildlife Rescue was very fortunate to be awarded with the ‘Shining World Compassionate Award’ by The Supreme Master Ching Hai.
Pauline Kidner was awarded with a beautiful cut glass trophy and a cheque for £10,000 just before Christmas. This award was for all our staff and volunteers who strive to reduce suffering and save lives of wildlife.
Pauline said, “It was so nice for our team to acknowledged for all the work that they do. They should all be very proud to have been recognised for their dedication in this way”.
Our thanks to the Supreme Master for her kindness. 15
