For qualified therapists looking for additional training in make-up, the Beauty Academy are now offering a part time ITEC Make-Up Artistry Diploma.
The course, which commences March 27th, helps therapists learn to create high fashion, catwalk and photography looks.
This course will cover facial contouring, perfecting eyeshadow application, eye liner, smokey eyes, photography make-up, era looks, high fashion, theatre, stage, airbrushed make up, camouflage make up, creating and covering tattoos and special effects.

Eve Taylor has announced the appointment of Hannah Dowd as their new Lead Educator within the Middle East, based in Dubai.
Hannah (originally from Australia) has a wealth of experience as a professional therapist, Spa manager and education mentor, having worked with some of the worlds leading Spa resort groups in the region for many years.

Waverley offer dual qualification
The Waverley Academy (formerly Irish Academy) have recently developed a new dual teaching qualification allowing students the option to obtain national and international qualifications.
“Applicants can now combine ITEC and FETAC awards when enrolling on our teacher training programmes and still complete the programme within a reasonable time frame,” says Principal Derek O Kelly.
“Opting for the dual qualification may also strengthen their case if they are looking for funding towards their fees (depending on their personal circumstances) while also enabling them to graduate with national and international qualifications.”
