METALLURGICAL ENGINEER—Caterpillar, Inc. is seeking a Metallurgical Engineer to work in its gray, ductile, and compacted graphite iron foundry to support metallurgical laboratory and production in product and process development mainly in ductile and compacted graphite cast- ings. Candidate must have a minimum of a BS degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science and have 5-10 years of foundry experi- ence. Ideal candidate would possess a high level experience in ductile and/or compacted graphite irons. Other ideal characteristics in- clude previous experience in supervision, statistical problem solving, defect analysis, lean manufacturing, and various Quality systems.
