Group Decision
It’s almost 2 years since Vision acquired shares in Registerprint Machinery Ltd, Registerprint’s reputation for service support for almost 50 years has been built on the supply and service of a wide range of high quality printing machines. The company grew rapidly through its association with Svecia, the Stockholm based manufacturer of screen printing machinery and ancillary products.
Registerprint continues to support a wide range of machines which not only include Svecia but most of the commonly used screen printing presses along with pre and post press equipment, with large stocks of replacement spares readily available.
Vision acquired shares in Registerprint to assist in the development of the company but also to expand on services offered by Vision, this association has been a great success.
Paul Waterton continues. “We have built our companies on very solid foundations, not particularly dynamic growth but careful and considered, we now need to continue this growth throughout 2011. We are actively looking to acquire other businesses that may allow us to expand our existing client base and further develop our share of the machinery and consumables market.”
Excellence Delivered
With a combined history spanning almost 60 years, Vision and Registerprint have supplied thousands of machines around the world and both businesses continue to supply new, used and factory reconditioned equipment, a diverse range of machines. Their combined current stock list includes a range of machines from squeegee grinders to high end digital imaging systems from Signtronic and Luscher, with 3 multi-colour lines in stock, both companies are well poised for the economic recovery. James Turley, Registerprint’s Financial Director explained, “there are a number of ‘dealers’ in the market place, some very professional businesses and some less so.
Our obsession to detail continues in the way we supply our machines and we are extremely selective in the machinery we purchase, buying the very best machinery from the market. After cleaning and factory reconditioning, our machines are delivered and installed by our own team of engineers. The equipment is generally warranted with the same warranty cover as new which gives end users absolute peace of mind when dealing with our company and of course extended warranties and service agreements are available on our entire range.”
Digitally Minded
Having recently delivered and installed its first reconditioned high end digital machine the company has invested in additional digital machinery stock for reconditioning and re-sale. The equipment is decommissioned and re-installed by the Registerprint engineering team who are rapidly gaining expertise in this field. Vision are also now supplying high end digital consumable products including Think branded inks, head wipes and replacement spare parts.
Colin Hale continues. “As a company we are ever mindful of the continued development of growth within the digital market and we believe we can satisfy some of the demands of clients in this area by introducing Vision levels of service to screen and digital print companies, levels of service and commitment we believe many of our competitors simply cannot match.”
It’s refreshing to see companies like Vision Supplies continue to grow and develop their business throughout periods of severe economic recession, let’s hope that their continued growth is an indication that better economic times are close!
