SBYC - PMYC Challenge Cup February 12

The SBYC-PMYC Challenge Cup is

coming out of retirement. It’s been pried loose from the trophy case at SBYC, the dust & tarnish has been rubbed off, the engravers have been notified to ready themselves and new adrenaline is beginning to flow. First ran in 1974, the Challenge Cup was ran between these two yacht clubs only, with only current members boats eligible to race and a minimum of three boats from each Yacht Club. For 18 years this cup has been coveted by SBYC. A new deed of gift has been established requiring a minimum of two years between races. The 2011 SBYC/PMYC Challenge Cup will be run in conjunction with the Snowbird Series. Swing by Anthony’s restaurant to view the Cup in the trophy Case, then get out on the water and support your club, To enter, complete a Snowbird Entry form at http://shilshole-bayyc.org/ snowbird.aspx

INSTALL 5hp – 2000hp

Business or Pleasure, AquaDrive will make your boat smoother, quieter and vibration free.

The AquaDrive system solves a

problem nearly a century old; the fact that marine engines are installed on soft engine mounts and attached almost rigidly to the propeller shaft. The very logic of AquaDrive is inescapable. An engine that is vibrating

on soft mounts needs total freedom of movement from its propshaft if noise and vibration are not to be transmitted to the hull. The AquaDrive provides just this freedom of movement. Tests proved that the AquaDrive with its softer engine mountings can reduce vibration by 95% and structure borne noise by 50% or more. For information, call Drivelines NW today.
