Description: Valuable teaching time is lost managing children’s behavior and conflicts. Evidenced-based program, Al’s Pals: Kids Making Healthy Choices, develops PK-3 students’ social-emotional competencies (self-control, problem-solving, social/interpersonal skills). Music, video and powerpoint will support overview of program and evaluation results. A local Assistant Principal and kindergarten teacher will discuss their Al’s Pals experiences. Target Audience: PreK-3 Teachers and Administrators.
