Aristocrat’s Viridian debuts in Holland

Aristocrat Technologies is

celebrating the arrival of its VIRIDIAN cabinet in the Netherlands, following the installation of a significant number of GEN7 slot games across the Holland Casino estate. The consignment includes a mixture of standalone games in VIRIDIAN and VIRIDIAN Lowboy cabinets and Double Standalone Progressive (DSAP) games distributed across the company’s 14 casinos.

Jelle van Battum, Holland

Casino Marketing Manager Gaming explained: “We identified a number of different player categories within our customer base, each with their own distinct entertainment requirements. Aristocrat’s vast library offered a wide cross-section of games to cater for all their needs on a new, approved platform whose design and technological ability fit perfectly within our new gaming space.”

Holland Casino Head of Format

Development, Rene-Paul Haas continued: “Our new strategy is to provide customers with an all- round entertainment proposition rather than just focusing on gambling activities and we are busy renovating and unifying our business to meet this objective. We have just introduced smoking rooms of 50-100 machines and by the end of the year six casinos will have these completed.”

Damien Greig, Aristocrat

Europe Regional Sales Manager added: “Holland Casino has enjoyed many years of success with our XCite games and we are delighted to continue our very good relationship with the next generation of slot entertainment.”

The STARGATE games have been busy since installation and are performing well across the country. At Casino Locarno, STARGATE SG-1 is one of the top performers and is improving the total floor average.

Grand Casino Bern is also

experiencing high traffic on the machines, said Gerhard Stiegler, Technical Director, Grand Casino Bern. “STARGATE SG-1’s attractive signage and compelling graphics draw players to this game,” said Mr. Stiegler. “At the same time, the randomly triggered bonuses keep them intrigued and entertained. STARGATE has been a great investment for Grand Casino Bern.”
