Cabe destacar que los productos que se presenten en Las Vegas llegarán al mes a la Argentina acercando las últimas novedades a los operadores de la región latinoamericana. SAGSE es la expo más grande e importante de América Latina.


Leiva es elegido Regulador del Año El organismo International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL),


eligió recientemente al Superintendente de Casinos de Juego, Francisco Javier Leiva, como Regulador del Año de Jurisdicciones Emergentes, y se programaba que distinción fuera entregada el próximo 25 de octubre en Madrid, en el marco de su Conferencia de Otoño.

Coles, señaló que este premio se le otorga por ser una persona de la más alta integridad que ha demostrado un valioso servicio a la comunidad de juego, destacando por su desempeño en el campo regulatorio, su significativa contribución a la regulación de la industria y por la promoción de un ambiente regulatorio estable en su jurisdicción.


En la ceremonia de premiación de este año, junto con el Superintendente Leiva se distinguirá la labor del regulador de Dinamarca, Morten Ronde. En años anteriores han sido distinguidos representantes de organismos reguladores de Estados Unidos (Nevada Gaming Control Board y Mississippi Gambling Comission) y de Reino Unido (British Gambling Commission), entre otros.


La CGS&C 2011 los días 3-4 de marzo

Chile’s Leiva elected Regulator of the Year The organisation International Masters of Gaming


Regulation (IMGL) recently selected the Chilean gaming control chief, Francisco Javier Leiva, as Gaming Regulator of the Year - Emerging Jurisdictions, a distinction that will be presented later this month on 25 October during the IMGL Autumn Conference. The awards luncheon, sponsored by Harris Hagan and Jeffrey Green Russell, will be at the Hesperia Madrid hotel between panel discussions and roundtable events.


In its official communication the IMGL President, Anthony Coles, stated that the award had been given to the Chilean gaming regulator because he was a person of the highest integrity who had given a valuable service to the gaming community with his work in the regulatory field, his significant contribution to the regulation of the industry and for his efforts ensuring a stable environment for his jurisdiction.
