Formerly he worked for the Maersk
Group where he was in charge of multimodal transportation and as a generalmanager for Pacific International Line, the state-owned container terminal, warehousing and Customs broker. His vast experience and professional
knowledge in the logistics and transportation industry have led to the successful and rapid expansion of the Globelink China Logistics group of companies in China, Hong Kong, the UK and the US.

With over 17 years of experience in the aviation industry, Thomas Hoang currently leads Boeing air cargomonitoring efforts in Europe and the People’s Republic of China. As regional director, he is responsible for understanding theworld’smajor air trade markets, identifyingmajor trends, and forecasting the future performance and development ofmarkets and of theworld freighter airplane fleet. Thomas plays a key role in Boeing product strategy and product development efforts. Thomas has alsoworked in engineering,
where hewas responsible for cargo-related issues, ranging fromrequirements and certification of cargo compartment air conditioning/ heating systems to the transportation of dangerous goods and live animals. He holds an
MBA in Finance fromSeattle University and a Bachelor degree in Science and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
BRIANLOVELL Chief Executive Officer, Australian Federation of International Forwarders (AFIF); Secretary-General to the Federation of Asia Pacific Aircargo Associations (FAPAA).
Originally fromthe UK, Brian spent his early years after leaving University College Londonwith the ThomasMeadows group at London Heathrowairport. In Australia from1981, heworked as an international forwardingmanager responsible for the air and sea freight import and export departments of the company. Brian is CEO of the Australian Federation
of International Forwarders (AFIF) and in 1996 he was appointed Secretary-General to the 18-member-country Federation of Asia Pacific Aircargo Associations (FAPAA). He is also a delegate to FIATA – the international freight forwarders’ industry body. In this capacity he works closely with the 18 nations across the Asia Pacific region, making himvitally involved with the issues facing forwarders in the area. Brian is amember ofmany Australian
national and state industry bodies and committees, several of which are involved with security.
