Copenhagen enjoys steady growth


DENMARK’SCopenhagen airport says it is making a targeted effort to growby continuing to strengthen its position as a cargo hub for northern European traffic. Given the strong growth forecast in air

TURKISHAirlines took delivery of its firstA330-200 freighter at the end of September. The aircraft is capable of carrying 65 tonnes of cargo over a range of 7,400kmor 70 tonnes over 5,900km. The freighter, one of two

The aircraft will bring better

2009, Turkishmaintained its position as one of the fastest-growing airlines in Europe, increasing its cargo volumes by 19.6 percent. This success continued in the first


half of 2010, with a 49.6 percent improvement seen in freight flown.


Strong Frankfurt pleads for expansion


ACCORDINGto the latest figures available fromGermany’s Frankfurt- Main airport, the gateway processed 185,372 tonnes of freight inAugust, an 18.4 percent increase over the same time last year. In fact, Frankfurt-Main sawits
