17 Angie Grant has joined Pembroke Communications as senior account man- ager. In this position, she will be manag- ing a number of leading consumer and lifestyle accounts, including
Hotels.com, UPC, Peter Mark and Crown Paints. Grant joins Pembroke after four years with Weber Shandwick, where she worked across the consumer, healthcare and corporate practices. She holds an MA in public relations from Dublin Institute of Technology.
18 Espion Distribution has appointed Paolo Pisani as channel manager for Ireland.
Pisani will be responsible for key accounts in Ireland, implementing sales and campaign plans, as well as developing and driving new opportuni- ties for the channel. He will be using his strategic selling and technical pre- sales skills to help all resellers design and offer competitive solutions. Pisani joins Espion Distribution from Topsec Distribution, where he worked for four years as hardware product manager and as channel manager in his final year.
19 Celine Maher has been appointed contract and retentions manager at Sage Ireland. She will be responsible for managing the retention of Sage contracts and in developing long-term strategy plans. Prior to joining Sage, Maher managed the customer retention and upsell teams for Meteor Mobile Communications for three years. Before that, she worked with PayPal Europe for four years. She holds a diploma in business and marketing from ITC.
20 Nicola Corboy has joined Solaris Mobile as marketing and communications manager. She will be responsible for developing and managing communications and marketing strategies for the company.
Corboy previously worked with PR consultancy Weber Shandwick across a number of corporate and consumer clients including Samsung Mobile and Samsung Consumer Electronics.
21 Hermann Schulte-Kellinghaus has joined the SolarisMobile corporate teamas senior business development officer. He will be responsible for services and portfolio development and the management and development of the S-Band ecosystem. Schulte-Kellinghaus joins the company with over 15 years’ experience within the mobile and media industry, having worked with leading industry players such as Ericsson, Openwave and Nagravision.
22 Brenda Morgan has been appointed sales manager Ireland for BMI, British Midland International, for the southern and northern markets. She joined BMI in 1993, working first at the Castle Donington headquarters, before returning in 1995 to head up its operations in Northern Ireland. Her responsibilities will involve both retaining and growing market share for the London Heathrow routes out of Dublin and Belfast, and for the onward interna- tional destinations of BMI in the wider Star Alliance network.
