Lace Mamba Global’s budget first person adventure title promises thrills and chills for PC players…
PC POINT-and-click specialist Lace Mamba Global is extending its Q4 release schedule with the release of adventure Wittard: Nemesis of Ragnarok. Following the publisher’s console debut on Xbox 360 with Gray Matter, adventure fans will be pleased to see that the publisher is still focusing on its popular point-and-click PC titles. apartments, a shopping mall, offices and leisure facilities. But eccentric architect Baron Wittard failed to open the site, and two years later, a chain of mysterious events causes a series of earthquakes, and people soon begin to go missing.
Armed with only a camera and a torch, players must journey to Utopia alone to explore its winding corridors, secret passageways and gloomy halls. Rumours escalate of something
malevolent lurking inside the city and it’s up to the user to find out what by searching for clues and solving puzzles. Wittard features non-linear gameplay, high-res graphics and an eerie soundtrack complete with a full musical score.
The first person perspective also adds a twist to the traditional point-and-click gameplay in PC adventure games. Wittard: Nemesis of Ragnarok is due for release this October on PC.

Nintendo transforms the DSi into a mirror…
WHERE Brain Training helped DS owners improve their memory and problem solving skills, Face Training strengthens and relaxes the user’s face. The title works by using its special bundled stand to transform a DSi or DSi XL into an advanced mirror, where the user sees a reflection of themselves as they play.
There are six key areas of the face that the title helps develop – eyes, cheeks, mouth, neck, nose and jaw. Virtual trainer Miles shows the player how to carry out more than 15 exercises, with plenty of training tips.
Bonus features include unique mirror angles that allow users to check their face from different viewpoints and perspectives. For expert accuracy, the facial exercises have been created in cooperation with Japanese beautician and muscle specialist Fumiko Inudo.

DS adventure puzzler is the sequel to Hotel Dusk…
LAST WINDOW: The Secret of Cape West is the follow-up to Nintendo’s casual puzzler Hotel Dusk: Room 215 released in 2007.
Former police officer Kyle Hyde returns in this new film noire-style adventure that Nintendo says is more like a novel than a standard video game. In fact, gamers are required to hold the DS vertically like a book as they play Last Window.
The game, set one year after the events of Hotel Dusk, is full of hidden mysteries that players must unravel, including the murder of Hyde’s father.
Some of the mysteries need solving using the DS’s built-in microphone. The game boasts a blend of 3D environments and 2D sketch-effect characters, accessibility for casual players, puzzle solving challenges and an absorbing plot. Who needs books?
