Anticipating andmanaging product demand is a challenge formany facets of an electronics company, including buyers. ArrowElectronics Inc. has introduced a newonline tool designed to provide easy, secure access to the supply chain that supports customers' forecasts.
"Forecast Response" is the newest addition to
Arrow's suite of online resources that helps components customers in North America manage their business and simplify theirwork.
Forecast Response,which is available through
theMyArrowcomponents portal, provides real- time, 24-hour online access to Arrow's supply chain. Users can quickly and easily track specific inventory, search for partswithin an uploaded forecast, purchase or release product online, and download customized data. Customers can also e-mail their Arrowsales representative directly fromthe Forecast Response online tool.
Connector maker adds distributor
Leading connectormanufacturer Global Connector Technology and technical specialist distributor Future Electronics have signed a worldwide distribution agreement.
Future will promote all GCT connectors,
including a extensive board to board range, SD/µSDmemory card connectors, SIM connectors, Combo SIM/Memory Card connectors andMini/µ USB connectors.
Commenting on the agreement, Rob Hill,
