is no wonder why the Albion chapter of FFA asked Mull to be the Keynote speaker at the chapter’s 100 year anniversary celebration, “Farmer to Neighbor Night 2010.” He proudly accepted, and during his speech, credited all his success to the skills he ob- tained through FFA and the drive instilled in him by his agriculture teacher.
“First of all,” he began his speech, “let me preface my remarks by saying there is no doubt in my mind that without the education, leadership training, and encouragement of my ag teacher, Mr. Stewart New, I would not have been able to experience and enjoy the past 51 years of life’s journey to the extent I have.”
In addition to speaking at the event, Mull also sold three items for the FFA at the auction held during the gala, raising about $1000. Mull states, “It was an honor to be invited back to my roots to serve as Key- note speaker at the 100 year celebration of the Albion FFA Chapter.”
Albion is the oldest chapter of FFA in the state of New York, and the fifth oldest in the nation. It cur- rently has 75 members.
