the existing irregularly shaped field footprint to ensure it is big enough for a cricket outfield. The new outfield surface is flatter and truer than the previous grass pitch and a state-of-the-art Notts Sport portable cricket mat, the first of its kind in the UK, can be laid on top of the MUGA so youngsters can still enjoy high levels of batting and bowling performance.
