In an exciting development, the management teams have joined forces to create Golf Frontiers, combining the brands, products, partners and assets of both companies under one roof.

For the last ten years, International Pairs and have operated as friendly rivals in the amateur golf market, promoting tournaments for golf club members and the casual golfer, here in the UK and across the globe.

Golf Frontiers has a long-term strategy to build on their excellent reputation and continue to deliver high quality, unrivalled amateur golf events across the world that will continue to make golfers dreams come true.

Ian Mulcrone, managing director of Globalgolfers. com, said: “Both companies have built a strong brand and enjoyed providing competitive events for the whole golfing population over the last decade.

Both companies have established excellent tournaments, working in parallel markets, with both operations effectively mirroring each other in terms of marketing, administration, sponsorship and general sales activity. “Myself and Ross have been discussing the merits of joining forces for many years and on a recent trip to America, at the start of this year, we managed to have a few days together, and from that initial meeting, the logic of the merger was clear for all to see and terms were agreed on our return with the formation of Golf Frontiers.”

Under the terms of the new agreement, the newspaper tournaments and International Pairs’ global competitions - the biggest in the world for amateur club golfers and all combined intellectual property, will come together under one brand, including the Globalgolfers online capability and the membership scheme.

Golf Frontiers will now feature and promote five tournaments promotions, the new fund raising through golf concept and an incredible putt for $1 million dollars society shoot out: International Pairs club and match play competitions for club members; the Ryder Cup-style Transatlantic Team
