Montego Bay in October, the fun at the Jamaica Doubles really starts when the fi nalists arrive in the Caribbean.

Rather than throw the competitors in at the deep end on their fi rst day, we arrange a practice round to get them accustomed to the high temperatures they can expect every day and come to terms with the nuances and charm of a typical Caribbean golf course.

T e Runaway Bay Golf Club is just a short buggy ride from the resort, where competitors are greeted with a truly magnifi cent, tropical lush, 18 holes of pure golf.

On day two, the competition starts in earnest with the competition format outlined and the pairings for all the winning fi nalists detailed for the next four days.

Scoring format is the same for each day of competition, with each pair’s total stableford, combined points score is recorded.

T e accumulated scores over the four days of competition are totalled up and the best overall score wins the event.

Generally, competitors tee off in the morning which leaves the rest of the day free to relax in the resort and take full advantage of the comprehensive facilities and activities including water skiing, sailing, surf boarding or simply enjoying the many

layed at the Runaway Bay Resort & Golf Club in

beach activities taking place each day.

If that is simply too much activity for the lucky winners to consider, they can always choose to simply relax by the sea or pool and enjoy the experience.

Furthermore, it’s all FREE, with all watersports, food, drink and beverages completely free and all inclusive whilst on the resort.

Just like the Transatlantic Team Challenge, the format of the competition could not be simpler with each winning pair required to play in only one qualifying round to reach a FREE UK regional fi nal.

T e top fi ve winning pairs from each and every qualifying day will go through to a regional fi nal - which is FREE - where the top pairs will join the other regional winners and enjoy an all inclusive overseas grand fi nal, later in the year.

To enter, simply log onto www. golff, select the club or qualifying venue you would like to play at and simply follow the on-screen instructions.

Entry is open to ALL amateur golfers, including club members, casual golfers and golf societies.

Entry is simple and everything is automated so that competition rules and joining instructions are all sent to you by email, as soon as you have completed the entry transaction.

Remember, if you are a member of Golf Frontiers, all competition entry fees, with the exception of International Pairs club events, are absolutely FREE.
