Fruit and vegetable carving is a venerable tradition which has been passed down from an-
cient times and is considered one of the ten traditional Thai crafts. Learn to carve melons
with beautiful floral patterns which will impress your guests. Bring two melons; cantaloupe,
honeydew or small watermelon (not too ripe or soft, harder melons will carve easier). The
