easy to learn. Bring garden clippers and a container for your arrangements. There is a $6.00 w
materials fee for each class or bring your own materials. Day class is appropriate for all levels:
beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Students make and take home their arrangements.

Students will learn an applique technique that is quick, easy, and it “blooms”. Level 1 students
can use fewer fabrics and make easy circular applique blocks that can be arranged in a variety
of ways to create several different overall patterns. Level 2 students can use many fabrics
and make flower and butterfly applique blocks. Instruction book $5. 5 wks

This is a level 2 class, some quilting experience is recommended. This quilt is made using
speed cutting and speed sewing techniques along straight lines, but the overall design of
the finished quilt looks like overlapping circles similar to the “Double Wedding Ring” quilt.

This is a level 2 class, some quilting experience is recommended. Students will learn to use
stripe fabrics in the “LeMoyne” star pattern and discover the interesting effects of stripe
fabrics in quilt patterns. Supplies to bring the first day of class: 22” x 28” white posterboard
and a pencil. Instruction book $5. 4 wks
All quilting classes: Sewing machine is needed at home only. Materials cost
depends on the size quilt you make. Classes include choosing fabrics, sewing the
quilt top, adding borders, basting, machine and hand quilting, finishing the quilt edge,
signing, and dating the quilt.
