until June 30, 2010 to complete requirements of the 160 credit plan or the Adult Basic Education and Pre-GED
GED plus 40 credit plan.
Students can improve reading, math and other basic skills needed for entry into
GED preparation classes. Ongoing
Algebra
Students develop an understanding of the symbolic language of mathematics. In
addition, algebraic skills and concepts are developed and used in a wide variety of
problem-solving situations. Ongoing
Learning Lab
All high school diploma subjects and GED® preparation are available at teacher
guided, self-paced learning centers. Ongoing
GED® Test Registration
Students ready to take the official GED® tests must attend a one-hour GED®
registration held every Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at 3750 Mary Lane.
At this registration, students must pay a $125 test fee (cash only) which pays for
all five tests. You must present a valid government issued photo I.D., complete
forms, and schedule test dates. No appointment necessary.
Registration starts at 6:00 pm.
Accommodations may be arranged for individuals
with a disability who are taking GED testing.
