A combined heat and power plant that runs on natural gas heats the
western portion of the centre, including the West Entrance, the
power plant, the electricity generated by the installation on the “B” halls International Congress Centre Munich (ICM) and the main administration
almost completely covers the trade-fair centre’s basic electricity requirement building. It has a power output of 2.8 MW and a heat-generating capacity
