Motivates Students to Excel
E
astern’s Honors Program gives motivated students the chance to
participate in intriguing, interdisciplinary courses such as New
England and the Sea, Modern Troubadours, Homelessness in
International Perspective, Science in Society and Culture across the
African Diaspora.
In the Honors Program you can do a thesis in your major. The criti-
cal research and analytical skills you develop through this long-term
project will carry you through graduate school, your career and life.
Peterson’s Guide to Honors Programs lists Eastern’s as “among
the most active in New England.”
