with students and the professor is talking too fast. It isn’t like that at Eastern. The professors
really take the time to make sure you know what you are doing and the classes are small. Every
professor I’ve had knows my name and says ‘hi’ whenever they see me on campus.”

I looked at quite a few other colleges and they were okay, but when I
came to visit Eastern, people seemed so close and friendly and the bas-
ketball team was great. The older players do a great job of mentoring
younger players. The team is like a family and Coach Geitner does a
great job motivating us. He really focuses on our academics and keeps
on top of us to make sure we know how important it is for us to earn
great grades.
Moving Toward The Future
Since senior year in high school, I’ve known that I want to be able to
help adults with their problems. Everyone needs help at some point in
their lives. I think that combining a major in biology with a minor in
psychology here at Eastern will help me to achieve my career goals.
