that. They can easily knock stands
over – and possibly hurt themselves
too.
When I saw the Hi-Glide system in
action at a friend’s studio I knew that
was the way for me to go. Installing
that system is one of the best things

flicking the Bowens heads around. I
can swing a light in whenever I want
and not worry about a stand getting
in the way.

numbers of children from playgroups
in the studio – and that inevitably
means similar numbers of mums too.
It used to be complete mayhem
before the Hi-Glide but now the kit is
on the ceiling and out of reach. It just
makes the whole process much,
much easier. I need to be able to
concentrate on my creative
photography – not worry about who’s
going to kick a light stand over
halfway through the session.”
