‘If I have to sleep overnight in a tent at minus twenty degrees, then so be it’ - Patrik Lindqvist

P
at-the-SwedeLindqvist likes
a bit of fresh air. His favoured
workplaces (and playgrounds)
are the world’s snow-covered
mountains and the rugged valleys
beneath.
Patrik lives in Chamonix, France and
he thinks he’s got the best job in the
world – as the director of Xtreme
Photography Studios (XPS), an
agency specialising in outdoor action
sports.
He works alongside some of the
world’s top athletes to capture
stunning, award-winning images that
are showcased in publications across
the globe.
“I crave ‘big-mountain’ action’ he tells
Litebook. “ I always want to stay one
step ahead and if I have to climb
mountains and sleep overnight in a
tent at minus twenty degrees, then so
be it. It’s a beautiful
world out there and I am
completely focused on
capturing it.”
Three years ago Pat-the-
Swede (as his friends call
him) moved to Chamonix
– a necessary step in his quest to
work with pioneering athletes.
