Art From Road Litter Show
T
he messages of securing loads and not littering
while driving will be communicated in vivid,
artistic fashion through Ken Andexler’s “Follow the
Yellow Brook Rules,” sculpture show from 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m., October 17, at Bike Route Naples, 655
Tamiami Trail, highlighted by lectures by the artist at
11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Andexler has collected approximately 18,000
pieces of road debris, including paint cans, baking
pans, nails and screws over the last three-and-a-half
years in our region that have been used to make sculp-
tures that serve as educational tools.
An artist reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., October 16, displaying his
photography and oil paintings. Proceeds from the sale of art will benefit Andexler’s
anti-litter/road debris campaign mission.
For more information, contact Ken Andexler at 239-287-2183.
