my home, on the eastern tip of Long Island.
The Montauk Point Lighthouse is the oldest
lighthouse in New York State. It holds
historical significance, as being authorized by
the second Congress, under Pres. George
Washington in 1792. It makes a good
destination for a family day trip, beautiful
location and you will learn something new.
