Connell wagner hold a graduate
conference in australia each year for
all the new grads to learn about the
company. this was great because not
only do you get a free trip away, but
you get to meet all the new graduates
within the company and make contacts
for the future. the wide range of work and opportunities to
work overseas added up to make working at Connell wagner
seem like an obvious choice!!
What are you enjoying most about the graduate program
at Connell Wagner?
the graduate program is great as it is aimed at fulfilling the
necessary requirements in order to qualify for full membership
of the NZ Planning institute. the regular mentoring sessions
and training opportunities really help advance your
professional development.
What’s the best piece of career advice you have received?
take initiative when applying for jobs! it is true when people
say that most jobs are not advertised. ring and write to
prospective employers to enquire about jobs, even
if they are not advertising. when you have landed a
job, take advantage of all the opportunities provided,
as the first couple of years are always going to be
