Ceres has criticized American companies and
pushed activist shareholder resolutions that call for more “sustainable” business practices and impose heavier costs on American companies.

Vaccine Pressure a Threat

hina’s communist social credit system rewards good behavior and punishes bad. Good-behavior treats include free airplane
travel and acceptance at fine hotels; bad- behavior punishments include travel bans, exclusion from higher education for children, slow internet speeds, and dog confiscation. Thus far in America, “wrong think” punishment is confined to banishment from social media. But if vaccine behavior- manipulation is an appetizer, then we shall soon suff er micromanagement of every public and private movement of our hourly lives just like in China.

in a free society. I hear it coming in the media drumbeat over the demonization of those who decline to receive a novel and largely experimental COVID-19 vaccine. I feel it in the subtle and not-so-subtle hints of politicians beginning to
conclude privately that the direction is toward another sheepish American acceptance of repressive governmental measures in the name of public health. If you want to wear a mask, wear it. If you want the vaccines, get them.
But keep the government off the backs of those don’t. Then our freedoms will be secure.
