he waves of illegal immi- grants fl ooding across the southern border pose “a clear and present danger” to
our national security, warned House Speaker Mike Johnson. More than 300 people on the FBI’s
terrorist watchlist have been appre- hended by Customs and Border
Patrol, but Johnson said many more have likely melted into the U.S. among the 1.8 million “gotaways” that have slipped in undetected. This at a time when Islamist attacks
against American troops overseas are surging and amid fears terror cells within the U.S. may be gearing up to
Heartland Families Devastated by Violent Criminals A
merican families are being devastated by illegal aliens who have committed murder, rape, and assault, says House
Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green. “So many illegal aliens have claimed U.S. victims,” the
Tennessee Republican said. “They are people who should’ve never been here.” In January, Green’s committee approved impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for a “willful and systematic” refusal to enforce immigration laws. “We cannot allow this man to remain in of ice any longer,” Green
said. Some of the worst crimes committed inside the U.S. by illegal
migrants include: Alexis Saborit, an illegal alien from Cuba with a history of
violence, beheaded his girlfriend with a machete in Minnesota in July 2021. In March 2022, Jean Macean, who posed as an unaccompanied

minor, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder after allegedly stabbing a Daytona Beach, Florida, couple. Macean had previous arrests related to drug charges, which were dropped. In May, Honduran national Grevi Geovani Rivera-Zavala
allegedly forced a teenage girl into an Alabama restaurant bathroom stall and raped her. Rivera-Zavala, who purportedly used a fake name when he arrived at the border in November 2021, already had a criminal record. Last February, Bryan Marquez, who had deportation orders but
was still in the U.S., brutally beat and murdered his roommate in Florida. He was charged with first-degree murder. In April, Francisco Oropeza, who was deported four times in 14
years, was accused of gunning down five Honduran immigrants in Cleveland, Texas, including a young child. In May, Elmer Bryan Giron-Canil, who was driving in Florida without a license, allegedly caused a crash that resulted in several injuries and the deaths of two people, including a high schooler.
