69 Jordan Brookes

Bootlegger, Cardiff, Mon 15 Nov; Eartha, Cardiff, Wed 17 Nov. Info: facebook.com/moonshinecomedybootlegger / facebook.com/regressioncomedy

Very few products of the last decade’s Welsh comedy scene have collected more accolades than Jordan Brookes, who has reacted to a higher profile by becoming increasingly experimental in his set concepts. November sees Brookes return to Cardiff with two mid-month shows for Moonshine and Regression, comedy promoters who are in fact the same people in different venues! They inform Buzz that the Mon 15 set will be more “mainstream” – think of this in relative terms – while the turn at Eartha two days later, in a yurt no less, will be longer and, maybe, weirder.
