Aildanio is Welsh for ‘reignite’ and, as a title, references Disability Arts Cymru’s initial callout for artistic submissions from disabled creatives based in Wales. From the 100-plus responses, 26 pieces have been chosen by DAC, and in conjunction with Arts Council Wales, have fashioned that into an exhibition which will tour to six Welsh galleries. Beginning at the oft-cutting edge G39 [pictured here] before transferring to the Cynon Valley Museum, between March and September Aildiano will be displayed in Caernarfon’s Galeri, Ty Pawb in Wrexham, Oriel Davies in Newtown and the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Swansea.
