have been some audacious new builds coming to fruition while others have been on the move to bigger or more suitable premises or have expanded within their existing buildings. Here’s a just a taste of what’s been
going on. US headquartered post house,
Harbor, is now up and running with a complete post-production studio spread across three floors in the Turnmills building in London’s Farringdon. another facility in Bristol’s Finzel’s Reach. The new facility sits alongside BBC Studios and Channel 4 and can operate locally with all the usual onsite post house services, but also provide remote editing all backed up by Gorilla’s Welsh HQ. Splice opened its impressive new
Nile Street building in London’s Old Street. The building has over 40 multi- use cutting rooms, six online picture rooms, three grading rooms and six Dolby Atmos studios.

New high-end post house, Bleat,
opened in Hackney’s Broadway Market this year. Bleat offers Theatrical and HETV Dolby Atmos mixing along with grading, online, and conform for scripted drama and high-end documentaries. At the heart of the new boutique post house are two Dolby Atmos Theatrical mix stages. Company 3 completed its move
from Wardour Street into Framestore’s Chancery Lane HQ following the acquisition of Company 3 by Framestore back in 2020. Framestore’s colour team has also now moved under the Company 3 banner. Molinare opened its new Dolby
Atmos 4K HDR theatre. The theatre, which was previously a grading suite, has undergone structural changes to cater for the acoustic requirements of a Dolby ATMOS room. Coffee and TV let go of one of its
floors in Soho during the pandemic and had been on the hunt for a larger studio. The company will soon move into a new 8,000 sq. ft home in Farringdon before the end of the year. Just over a year since launch, post
outfit Racoon added a second building to its Frith Street base with a new facility on Margaret Street. Along with collaboration, review and mastering rooms, the building also provides two audio mixing studios. With the recent completion of
some construction and renovation work on its Berners Mews facility, UNIT now boasts a new Flame 5.1 online suite and additional grading suites. Twickenham Film Studios
launched its new state-of-the-art Dailies department. The facility has 10 Dailies suites and 4 picture 4K VFX review theatres complete with Baselight alongside Daylight grading
