FRAMESTORE It’s another year at the top of the Peer Poll for Framestore with rivals pointing to its “continued high level of output in all areas of post.” Others praise the “pool of talent across the company,” its “R&D and creativity” and “commitment to training “ saying it is “top of the feature tree” and is “leading and representing UK VFX on a global stage.”
05 MPC
MPC gets a fifth place in the Peer Poll this year after placing seventh last time. Its voters pick MPC out for its “excellent creative” as well as its “consistent technical standards” with others giving MPC a Peer Poll vote because “they’re great at what they do.” Other rival post houses say of MPC, “we always hear good things, especially around effects.”

HALO Halo takes second place in this year’s Peer Poll with voters saying it has “great talent and service” and is “working on best in class programming.” Others also point to Halo’s “impressive breadth of work across genres” and its “customer care throughout production” and vote for it for its “quality of work, expertise, creative talent” and for its “excellence in audio.”
06= COF FEE & TV
Coffee & TV is described by its post house peers as a “good ethical company,” who “look after their people.” while producing “some very beautiful looking work.” Many point to Coffee & TV’s environmental credentials, saying the company is “driving sustainability in the industry” and “leading the charge in sustainable VFX.”

THE MIL L Also in at second this time in the Peer Poll is The Mill. Rival companies praise it for its “continued outstanding creativity” and call it an “outstanding global advertising vfx company” saying “they’re great at what they do” and “the biggest,” producing “great vfx,” while others say of The Mill that it is the “best overall.”
06= COMPANY 3
Company 3 is described by its post house peers as a “global grade and vfx powerhouse working on incredible films and programmes.” It also picks up votes for its “good customer service” as well as its “technical attention to detail.” Company 3’s grading roster is also picked out for praise with voters pointing to its “colourist talent and excellence in scripted.”

F ILMS AT 59 It’s a move up the Peer Poll for Films at 59, from seventh to fourth with rivals saying they are “lovely people doing good work” who are “well organised and knowledgeable.” Rivals say Films at 59 provides a “personal service but with a large scale” and “continues to make incredible natural history programming” praising its “expertise and creative talent.”

ETC
Electric Theatre Collective is praised by its peers for its “consistently great quality work” and for its“innovative creative ideas.” Others say of the company that it has a “constant high level of output on interesting projects” with a “good energy and colour department” with others pointing to recent work including “The Tyler the Creator Video!”

TIME BASED ARTS
Fellow post houses say of Time Based Arts that it “picks projects well and always delivers to top quality.” Others say that “care goes into every job” and it is “always ready to help” and “always has interesting projects on the go and a drive to put very good stuff out.” Others say that the company is “ambitious with the projects they take on.”

Envy gets its place in the Peer Poll top ten because of its “invest- ment in the industry” as well as its “talent and size.” It also picks up votes from fellow post houses due to it “consistently delivering outstanding service” along with its “great talent and team.” Others still give Peer Poll votes to Envy simply because they say they “love their style.”
