Most recently and for the last 11 years at Anitox, he has led this company through significant growth as Regional Director Europe, Middle East and APAC, VP Commercial Operations and most recently as COO.


DR. AJAY AWATI ENTERS EW NUTRITION PRODUCT MANAGEMENT TEAM EW Nutrition as leading provider of innovative feed solutions recently announced that from 1st of February, Dr. Ajay Awati joined the company’s product management team as Global Category Manager Enzymes. Dr. Awati finished his Bachelor´s program


in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry at the KNP College of Veterinary Science, now part of Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, India. He continued his masters education under International Master’s program in Animal Science at the University of Wageningen with major focus on nutritional immunology. He managed to complete two master theses: The first one on nutrition and immunology in broilers and the second one on in-vitro digestion model development for cats. After his graduation he worked on an EU-project called “Healthy


Pig Gut” at the University of Wageningen in which at least ten universities and research institutes across Europe were involved to develop strategies to replace in-feed antibiotics. The focus of his PhD thesis was to generate strategies to use fermentable carbohydrates as prebiotics in weaning piglet nutrition. In his professional career he worked several years for leading


companies in the animal nutrition and animal production industries and gathered profound scientific and practical experiences in the development and application of feed additives in animal nutrition.


DE LACY EXECUTIVE STRENGTHENS MARKETING TEAM De Lacy Executive, the agricultural and food recruitment specialists, has appointed Jadine Huxtable to a new role as Marketing and Recruitment Specialist, based at the company’s headquarters at Bishops Frome in Herefordshire. Jadine, (nee Birchall), has worked in the


agricultural supply industry since graduating from Hartpury College in 2009 during which time she developed considerable experience in a range of sales and technical support roles, primarily in the ruminant sector. Ruminant Nutrition runs deep throughout Jadine’s family and remains a passion of hers today, and she recently completed a Diploma in Ruminant Nutrition at Harper Adams University College. Having taken a short career break to start a family, Jadine has


joined De Lacy Executive as Marketing and Recruitment Specialist where she will work closely alongside the team to deliver a new marketing strategy as well as providing full recruiting services too.
