The results are equally successful where either form is used. “BehavePro has gained a great deal of traction with producers


and vets in 2022,” says Cargill pig specialist Jason Evans. Once added to the diet, response is fast – pigs are generally calmer within 48 hours, and production improvements are seen where either the liquid or powder form is used. “Producers are consistently reporting improvements in fertility and


farrowing rates in sows, reduced mortality in piglets, and less aggression- related issues, such as tail-biting, in growing and finisher pigs.” Trial results from a 600-sow indoor unit has shown that sow mortality reduced by 50%, farrowing rate improved by 1.5% and pre-


weaning piglet mortality fell by 5% when BehavePro® in the diet at the recommended dosage.
