You’ll be amazed by Beaulieu’s Supercar Weekend on August 5th and 6th, an unmissable two-day showdown gathering together more than 450 of the most impressive supercars on the planet. With high-octane demonstration runs and amazing displays of earth-shattering cars, performance car fans of every age will love the show.

Battle of the Brands is at the heart of the Beaulieu Supercar Weekend, bringing together jaw- dropping motors from the world’s leading supercar-building nations in the grounds of the National Motor Museum. See these wildly different but equally awesome supercars facing down their competition across Beaulieu’s giant globe.

The Dodge Viper ACR, a 645bhp V10 monster, will be sharing the American section with the very latest Ford Mustang GT500, vying for visitors’ attention with Japan’s track-proven Nissan GT-R NISMO, blistering Honda NSX and V8- powered Lexus LC 500. Look to the Italian display for world-leading performance cars, including the Ferrari 488 GTB, Lamborghini Huracan and Maserati GranTurismo, while the Mercedes-AMG GT S, BMW i8 and Porsche GT3 RS will all be flying the flag for Germany. If all that wasn’t enough, the British camp will also be chock-full of stunning

machines, including

the McLaren 720S, Bentley Continental, Aston Martin DB11 and Jaguar F-Type SVR. The show will also pay homage to the legendary Ford GT, with a rare opportunity to see road- going and race-spec versions of the car’s latest incarnation. Compare these dream cars up-

close, then find your spot near Beaulieu’s Chestnut Avenue to watch supercars roar past in spectacular demonstration runs, as drivers put the

acceleration

of their machines to the test for visitors.

Head to the lawns of Palace House, to see an incredible 20- car line-up of the most prestigious supercars and hypercars ever built, gathered together by Classic Insurance Services.

Celebrating 50 years of one of the UK’s most action-packed forms of motorsport, the Retro Rallycross Championship will be bringing together some of the most historically important rallycross cars for show-goers to see up-close. At the display’s centre will be the Porsche 911 driven to victory by Vic Elford in the first British rallycross race in 1967.

Horoscope By Quinn

ARIES (March 21st to April 19th) Short of staying in bed for the entire fortnight you will find it hard to fail in most of your enterprises. You have a lot of commitments and possibly this is the spur you needed to get you cracking on your chosen path. You are a naturally indolent character most of the time, and though you spend a considerable amount of time on the brink of disaster, you never quite fail. The lucky period in your life must be taken full use of if you are to reap the fullest rewards.

TAURUS (April 20th to May 20th) This is a fortnight to concentrate on the good things in life. If it comes within the luxury bracket then go for it. For you this is no time for penny-pinching or false economising. You have an image to preserve and nothing but the best will do this for you. If you look cheap you will receive cheap treatment. If you wish to be given the respect you both deserve and need you must give the impression that this is your rightful due.

GEMINI (May 21st to June 21st) Business

should be particularly successful right now.

Commercial matters are very well starred. Be straightforward and down to earth in all your dealings and you will find it hard to go wrong. Where relaxation is concerned all will not go so well. Maybe this is a sign that this is no time to relax so you should concern yourself mainly with gainful employment. Don’t take this too much to heart, there is plenty of time later to enjoy yourself.

CANCER (June 22nd to July 22nd) Slow down at once! You are suffering from a burst of incredible energy and if you carry on like this you will surely do yourself a mischief. Take things firmly one at a time. Chew everything over thoroughly before you act. Consider each and every possibility. Caution at this stage will bring its own rewards later on when it will be most important for your future. The advisability of slowing down applies to all aspects of your life at the moment.

LEO (July 23rd to August 22nd)

An odd couple of weeks are ahead for you. Memories of a startling nature will come home to you most when you least expect them. This could shake you down to your very foundations and may well cause you to act without caution. Now you are not a cautious person at the best of times, however you do have the facility of saving awkward situations when you cause them. This time though you will so out-face yourself that it may well not be possible to remedy any damage done.

VIRGO (August 23rd to September 22nd) What a lot of nice things are in store for the immediate future. There is some good news on its way in the post. A belated gift should reach you soon. Your wiser family are particularly loving and attentive. Friends are outgoing and receptive to your ideas. The one danger is that your self-confidence will be boosted up to such a pitch that you could become a trifle insufferable. Take a tip and watch your tongue because at the moment, folk hang on your every word.

LIBRA (September 23rd to October 23rd) A peaceful fortnight this if you play your cards right. Don’t overdo anything, work, leisure, spending or relationships. Be content to play a background part. Keep your eyes and ears open and take careful note of all that is going on around you. That way you will be well equipped to cope with events at a later date. Your main problem will be to keep awake most of the time because boredom will set in quite quickly.

SCORPIO (October 24th to November 22nd) For once in your life your natural diplomacy is out of place in the situation in which you find yourself. Take the bull by the horns, go in feet first and the element of surprise will do the rest. When this little minor difficulty has been sorted out, you will need to find some extra time to spend with a younger member of your family who is feeling a trifle neglected of late. Don’t make the mistake of thinking you can sort this out by just spending money.

SAGITTARIUS (November 23rd to December 21st)

Be content to stay in the background till it’s time for the final push. You will gain nothing by showing your hand too early in the game. You are dealing with some pretty shrewd characters at the moment and you need to be that much cleverer than they if you are to get what you want from the current situation. Don’t confide in anyone unless you can be absolutely certain of their discretion. Only one wrong word will be necessary to lose the advantages to be gained.

CAPRICORN (December 22nd to January 20th) After the excitement of the last week or so, it may well be a little difficult to settle down to the more mundane things in life. Buck up, there is more excitement in store later and you will need this lull in your affairs to help you prepare for coming events. There is a plan you have been shelving for some time. So now is a good time to resurrect it, if nothing else it will give you something else with which to occupy your mind.

AQUARIUS (January 21st to February 19th) There are a number of semi-official matters coming to the fore this week and all of them will need careful attention. Don’t become flustered if things don’t seem to be running to plan. Be ready to reorganise your timetable when and if necessary. Adaptability is the order of the day and this alone will bring you out on top in the long run. There is a minor health worry associated with a near relative. Given time this should work itself out.

PISCES (February 20th to March 20th) This is a fortnight for renewing things. Old friendships, acquaintanceships and relationships, can all do with that extra effort to cement them more firmly together. Mind you, this is not restricted to relationships, household matters and equipment will need seeing to as well. Beyond these personal affairs there is a decided need for patience when dealing with officialdom which will be at its most infuriating at the moment.
