The Bordeaux Superyachts Refit cluster was set up in 2012 and was created on the initiative of Aquitaine’s manufacturers, with a view to develop refit and maintenance activity among superyachts and megayachts along the Atlantic seaboard. The mission of the organisation is simple; to host contractors and develop the area as a stop-over and refit/maintenance destination, offer continual training to the cluster members to help develop the site into a


leading facility for superyachts on the Atlantic Coast. With a deep history in commercial shipping, the skill sets, infrastructure and facilities are perfect and with the historical city just a stones throw from the port, the area is perfect for wintering or that stop over when crossing the Atlantic.
