UPFRONT
BUNK UP BUDDIES Space is at a premium, you’re packed in like sardines in the smallest cabin on the largest superyacht. What kind of bunk buddy are you?

roomie by turning on the light at 4am, just because you can. It’s not as if they have to get up at 6am for a 15 hour shift, right?
as your roomie is falling asleep to start gossiping about the crew, the guests or even worse, the Captain. Watch out my friend, don’t forget loose lips sink ships.

poster? Well, you’d better get used to sleeping in a shoe box (and it’s not as if you have room for those anymore). No room for teddy bears on the bed now, you’ll be lucky if you have room for a pillow! Sleep tight Princess.

CARELESS WHISPER You love a gossip and there’s nothing like that intimate moment
STRAIGHT DOWN THE LINE The first thing you do is get out a roll of duct tape and carefully mark
your space. This side is mine, all mine! That’s really going to work when your half includes the door so your bunk buddy has no way of getting in or out without treading on your toes… might want to rethink the split!
MESSY PUP It’s as if your bag exploded as soon as you stepped foot in your cabin.
Boom, it’s pants galore as everything you own is literally strewn across the floor. Your bunk buddy has to step over everything just to get out of the tiny door. You messy pup!
NIGHT SHIFTER You’ve been partying hard all night so why not wake your sleeping
MY FAVOURITE DESTINATION IMPERIA
Lucia Badano, Fleet Manager JMS Yachting
Imperia is divided into two zones: Oneglia and Porto Maurizio 2 km to the west. Built in the neo- classic style in 1781 by the architect Gaetano Cantoni, Porto Maurizio has two nice boardwalks: Borgo Foce and Borgoprino and a promontory (Parasio) within walking distance. Parasio is full of beautiful buildings and monuments. The historic centre of Porto Maurizio is an intricate tangle of narrow streets with some wonderful shops. From
STEP TO IT
the top of its belvedere the medieval village offers a wide and magnificent view of the gulf. At the foot of the Parasio, overlooking the sea, are the ancient villages of Marina and Foce, rich in restaurants, night clubs and bathing establishments. You really can find two different worlds here, one a vibrant town with shops, restaurants and bars, or turn the other way and discover the historic past and relax and enjoy the views.

as there’s always the chance your boat could get blown off-course. Anchor Watch Pro keeps track of your location and sends you an alarm if you get too far from the anchor.
