GOSPEL OUTREACH IN GHANA


News from Pastor Anthony Bentum-Ennin, Grace Reformed Baptist Church, Cape Coast


I


N MARCH we started separate morning (evangelistic) services in English and Fanti (the local dialect), and it has been very much appreci- ated, particularly by more elderly worshippers who are evidently listen- ing more intently in Fanti than in our formerly mixed English/Fanti servic- es. About 60 attend each service, with some attending both. We have visi- tors most Sundays. Six friends who have professed faith were baptised in July and several others appear con- cerned about their souls. Please pray with us that these will truly come to faith in the Lord and that many more be will be awakened to their spiritual need.


Our student and youth focus meetings have attracted the highest attendances so far – up to 120. The brethren in charge of organising them have sought ways to extend invitations more widely and some participants came with their ‘under- age’ siblings, whom I have not
