ST LUCIA UPDATE T


HE last of my daily devotional programmes was broadcast on Radio St Lucia on 31st


July, ending


17 years of daily broadcasts. The sta- tion has now closed. I am thankful to God for the opportunity to speak to the people of this country and beyond for so many years. We have been trying to get an opening on an- other radio station. Discussions have been promising but so far no doors have been opened. We continue to pray.


The Lord’s work continues to see blessing in Anse-la-Raye. Our Sun- day School numbers were maintained during the summer period and we thank the Lord for all the members who go to the homes of the children every Sunday afternoon in the heat of the day to collect them. We pray

for the salvation of the children. For the past six weeks the church


has been full even during the evening service. We are seeing new faces com- ing to our Gospel services, both from the local community and from the city of Castries. The two members of our church who completed the LRBS online course have begun to preach at Bible studies from time to time. Both of them are also very active in Sunday School ministry. Regarding progress with our new building near Castries, we opened the building fund in 2011 and gifts large and mostly small have been ac- cumulating, so that in 2015 we were able to start work on the land and
