New minis from Wacker Neuson

Wacker Neuson has expanded its portfolio of tracked equipment with the addition of two mini-excavators that are suitable for a wide variety of applications.

Enter the ET42 and EZ50 tracked excavators; the former with a

conventional tail and the latter boasting zero tail swing - hence the ‘Z’ in the title. Highlight benefits of the new machines include spacious and

comfortable cabs with optimal visibility on all sides, wide-opening covers, operating temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius, 3-point kinematics for more break out force, insertion depth and dumping height; four extra control circuits allowing the use of a wider variety of attachments, and a ‘Load Sensing Flow Sharing’ system, which adjusts to the load automatically while maintaining joystick controls for the operator. Meanwhile, an Active Working Signal in the engine hood improves

safety for persons in the working area of the excavator, a synthetic covering protects the lifting arm piston, and both units have Stage V compliant engines. Optional extras include a rear camera paired with a seven-inch display, LED headlights and an auto-stop function.

new move, WernerCo Managing Director Justin White said: “We are delighted to have Steve in the team, as he brings with him extensive knowledge that will be invaluable to the future development of our product ranges in the coming years. His responsibility for EMEA projects also comes at an exciting time as we look forward to a number of major new product developments later this year as we get back to business following the impact of Coronavirus. “Steve steps into the large shoes left behind by Paul Bruton,

who has been an integral part of the team at WernerCo over many years.”
