HSC
The Dosko Mini and Maxi Stump Grinders have been part of the HSC Groundcare portfolio for over a decade and have proven extremely popular within the tool hire industry due to their quality and performance. Robust and compact, these American- made stump grinders have
many features and benefits. The Dosko Mini Stump Grinder is powered by a Honda GX200
engine and is now fitted with the ‘Green Tooth’ cutting system as standard. The handle when folded lets users fit the grinder into the boot of a small car and is ideal for domestic customers looking to tackle smaller stumps. Meanwhile, the Dosko Maxi Stump Grinder is powered by a Honda GX390 engine and is also fitted with the Green Tooth cutting system - as the edge of the tooth wears, users simply loosen the nut and turn to get a sharp edge. Both Dosko models have a side discharge chute, so that the waste material created from grinding does not build up at the cutting head giving the user a clearer sight of the stump or tree roots.

Vegetation control specialist McConnel has introduced an extendable track width option for its Robocut RC56 and RC75 all-terrain remote-control power units. Unlike existing variable track width designs, the new McConnel system can be
set to extend just one track. In addition, the company offers a unique automated system. This can be set to automatically extend the track on the lowest side of the machine in work without compromising the overall width of the machine. Key features include a variable track width extension from 1,300mm up to a
maximum of 1,800mm, each track can be independently extended by up to 250mm per side, the tracks can be adjusted on the move via the ROBOCUT remote control, and an automated track extension system option which will automatically extend the track on the downward side of the slope according to gradient.
