NEXT year will see new advances from

SELIGO.pro: the ground-breaking platform streamlining the relationship between waste collectors and processing centres. The SELIGO team’s dedication and passion for getting waste processed as quickly and easily as possible has led to a very busy and fruitful 2018, and there is a host of new developments coming online in 2019. With apps available on Android and iOS,
SELIGO.pro is for on-the-go waste collectors. Once registered, users can quickly and easily fi nd processing centres with spare capacity in their area. All that is left to do is choose the best fi t according to the type of waste and budget. Treatment sites can share their current capacity on the platform, making them more visible to waste collectors. The team at SELIGO have been busy listening to and learning from early adopters of the platform, and will launch two important new features for the fi rst quarter of 2019.
Buying feature
Firstly, SELIGO’s new Buying feature will allow treatment sites to advertise a price for quality material such as paper, card, metal, and plastics. By identifying sites that are actively seeking to purchase certain categories of waste product, waste carriers can transform what would usually be a charge into revenue.
Facilitating non-standard transactions
Secondly, although the platform was developed as a way of automating the waste management process, everyone knows not all waste products and their transactions are the same. SELIGO will be releasing a new feature to help facilitate such non-standard transactions. With dozens of new treatment sites signing up every day, SELIGO is now assisting waste carriers in most of the major English urban areas, and 2019 will see the platform open up shop in Scotland and Wales too. The platform ensures registered parties hold valid operating licences or permits, plus a bank guarantee is obtained on
bookings, so there is no fi nancial risk on either side. Invoicing is carried out with just a few taps on a smartphone, and there are no time-consuming validation procedures or long-term contracts to worry about. A free, indispensable resource,
