MC Rental expand range into new markets to meet innovative requirements

AS PART of a drive to expand its growing rental and contract hire business, MC Rental has added a new range of HGV trucks to its vehicle portfolio. The addition of these trucks is aimed at providing short- term rental requirements for customers operating within the municipal, building and construction industries. In preparation for 2019, MC Rental has added tippers, beavertails, grab, hook and skip loaders to its fl eet as well as waste specifi cation tractor units and crane-mounted rigids.
Sales Director at MC Rental, Dave Hutchins said: “While we have had these types of trucks on our long-term hire fl eet for a while, we have not had them available for our short-term hire fl eet before.
“MC Rental’s proven expertise of supplying municipal and construction vehicles to customers through our long-term contract hire fl eet has enabled us to expand our short-term rental fl eet with an optimum range of similar vehicles. “This signifi cant investment in new chassis types has enabled us to supply this unique and complex marketplace with a range of specialised high-specifi cation trucks that fully meet our customer’s short-term operational requirements.” As a company, MC Rental has grown over the past few years and experienced increased demand for a wider range of trucks. Dave added: “The move to diversify into off ering trucks for short-term hire - for example, for the building and construction industries - has already paid dividends and, as a result, we’ve signifi cantly widened our customer base. “For many years now, MC Rental has built up its reputation by being able to provide its customers with the right specifi cation of vehicles through a fl exible range of commercial rental agreements. “We believe this is a proposition for customers who have previously found it diffi cult to source such vehicles on a short-term basis.”
