Screenpod’s new Dust Cannon range added to company’s extensive product portfolio
SCREENPOD Design & Manufacturing has added its new Dust Cannon S-Series to the company’s product portfolio. Designed for eff ective on-site dust control and suppression, the Dungannon-based company’s new dust cannons minimise dust and reduce health risks, while vastly improving air quality.
How they work
Water is pressurised through jet nozzles, transforming it into a fi ne mist. A fan within the cowling then generates airfl ow to disperse the mist, which then latches to the dust particles and as a result, supresses the dust.
Dust Cannon S-Series include:
• S35 – 3kW mist fan, 30-40m throw • S45 – 7.5kW mist fan, 35-40m throw • S55 – 18.5kW mist fan, 50-60m throw • S65 – 30kW mist fan, 60-80m throw
Dust Cannon S-Series: features and benefi ts
The wide selection of dust cannons have low power consumption and provide a range of competitive features and fi nancial benefi ts.Each dust cannon has a robust chassis with components that provide a hot dip galvanisation, which is defi nitive for the demolition, steel and rental industries. The new Dust Cannon range also comes with an electric tilt and automatic main valve. Each dust cannon also provides an automated swing operation to disperse mist over a large area. The water fl ow of the dust cannon is adjustable to suit application requirements, which dispense droplet sizes between 10-150 microns. Additionally, the range of dust cannons is ideal for outdoor use, meeting varied needs for steel plants, crushing and recycling, mining, bulk handling, and demolition.
Screenpod’s Airvac range
As well as the Dust Cannon S-Series, Screenpod have an established Airvac range. The Airvac’s compact and effi cient light fraction (fi nes) recovery separation systems comprise an adjustable vacuum head unit, which is fi tted over a stockpile conveyor belt, or screen box. This is suitable for the removal of plastic or fi ne contamination from compost, bark, skip waste, and recycled aggregates. Airvac products are being continually developed, which perfectly encapsulates Screenpod’s ethic. This is achieved through driving new concepts and

innovations in order to make the Airvac technology and create larger mobile Screenpod Airtrac 1500 Windshifters – another product range from the company’s impressive portfolio.

Quick set-up time
In experienced hands, each Airvac machine, which has universally-fi t conveyor attachments, can be quickly set up onsite within 10 minutes. Above all, for Screenpod’s Airvac systems and new Dust Cannon S-Series, the company can provide custom-made versions to adapt over any conveyor or screen box.
