MTK opens new facility to distribute Kinshofer’s new product ranges

MTK Breaker Hire & Sales, founded in 1999 and taking root in Manchester, has expanded its operation after recently opening a new branch near Cannock, Stafforshire to distribute Kinshofer’s Crusher & Screening Buckets along with the NOX Tiltrotators. The new branch, which opened in October, had two chief points of focus: existing customers and sales enquiries for newly-introduced products. The new operation will increase area demand and support for hire, sales and repairs in the Midlands region.

Expansion into southern England

The opening of the Midlands branch also means the company, which is a leading UK provider of hydraulic excavator- mounted attachments, now have two depots: one covering the North West and the other South Staff ordshire and central Birmingham – with a fi ve-year expansion

turnaround to customer demands. MTK also has its own fabrication workshop to repair and maintain customer products as well as its own hire fl eet equipment. In addition, the company have just launched a brand-new website, where customers can view all their existing products and services. www.mtk-breakers.co.uk

plan to open two further depots. As well as covering the Midlands the new depot allows quicker deliveries for spot hires, emergency breakdowns and greater coverage for southern England.

Herbst’s new Compact Screener turns waste into desirable product

HERBST Machinery’s latest product, the Compac Screen, has scooped the LAMMA 2019 show’s Diversifi cation Innovation Award. The new, award-winning model, which will be launched in January 2019 is a 3-way split screener which can be towed behind an agricultural tractor. The screener comes complete with its own power unit and hydraulics, which makes it completely self-suffi cient when parked up and operating on site. The screener’s chief application will be in agriculture but it will also be invaluable in the construction, recycling, demolition and skip waste sectors. The screen turns stockpiles of unwanted waste material, aggregate, concrete, soil and rubble, into useful, grade-end products, which the customer can then utilise or sell. The clever machine is ideal for those in the recycling and skip waste sectors looking to expand and off er a service in their area for screening materials. These machines provide benefi ts to construction contractors as the new product can

handle various materials including topsoil, gravel, fi eld stones, crushed concrete. The key benefi t of this screener, to the user and customer is the processing of material which has no value or use into a desirable product with added value that can be utilised.

Unique selling points

One of the things that makes the screener unique is its manoeuvrability. It also allows its user the ability to process the unwanted on-site material into useable products. Being tractor towed, it can be

easily moved from one site to another without the need of a low-loader trailer. The compact design and relatively low unladen weight of 5,500kg makes it easier to manoeuvre and also takes up less room on site. As a result, in confi ned areas or where access is restricted, this machine can be easily utilised. Despite its relatively small footprint, the machine still performs with outputs of up to 150-tonnes per hour. This makes the machine highly effi cient, saving time and reducing costs on processing.

screener, yet one still able to deliver the high output and adaptablity of similar machines with many applications.

To conclude, the screener is recycling unwanted material with minimal impact on the environment and additionally, all machines are now manufactured using renewable energy.
