The PolyMax™ handheld analyser can measure polymers in any form, as rolls, bales, fl akes, sheets, pellets, carpets, scraps, bottles, or pallets, and down to sizes of a few millimetres. It is preloaded with a comprehensive library of materials allowing users to rapidly identify over 100 types of plastic polymers from all major families and subfamilies of polymer: Polyethylene (PE), Polystyrene, Nylon, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polycarbonate (PC) and Polypropylene. The analyser also features a large 5" colour touch screen, camera, and allows users to build their own library. Its rugged design, with solid- state components, sapphire glass, and a shock- and water-resistant frame, means it works reliably in all weathers and even in the hands of the least experienced user.
