Focus on Embroidery

For perfect embroidery without distortion Ultra Soft Tear Away backing has been a best seller for ETC Supplies since its launch. The company has listened to customer feedback on how to make this product even better. ETC Supplies has engineered some changes to the Generation 2 Ultra Soft Extra Backing that will allow you to use it on even more applications and in place of cut away backings in some cases. The new Generation 2 Ultra Soft Extra Backing is even softer than before, but with more bulk in the fi bre lay which means that the backing will absorb a lot more thread tensions without perforating and reduce puckering.

Polyester embroidery threads are being increasingly used but they have downfalls. These threads run on very high tensions, meaning the embroidery backing is shredded and the thread is pulled through the fabric.

Generation 2 Ultra Soft Extra backing is designed to absorb the extra tension and provide you with a perfect embroidery without distortion.

Best of all, when fi nished you can tear away the backing leaving a clean fi nish on the back of your embroidery. Most designs only require one sheet of Generation 2 Ultra Soft Extra Backing. New Generation 2 Ultra Soft Extra now produces very little dust, probably the lowest in its class. So, this means less cleaning and downtime on your machine.

For the price conscious customer, ETC Supplies now has the option of 80g and 100g products to choose from.

This is the only tear away embroidery backing that comes close to the performance of cut away backings.

This product is only available from ETC Supplies. www.etcsupplies.co.uk
